Extraction facial

For breakout-prone skin that Argelia has seen at a consultation.

A facial that works slowly through cleansing, steam, extractions where your skin allows and a mask, and ends with a written note.

Consultation first: you come to this facial after the consultation, or as part of the first visit. Results vary.

What happens

Four steps, in order

  1. 01
    15 min

    Step 1: Cleanse and steam

Argelia cleanses your skin and warms it with steam to soften it. Tell her if it's too warm.

  2. 02
    20 min

    Step 2: Extractions

She clears what your skin allows, one area at a time, and stops when it has had enough.

  3. 03
    15 min

    Step 3: A mask

A mask chosen at the consultation goes on while she works on your hands and shoulders.

  4. 04
    10 min

    Step 4: The note

She writes what she saw and what to do at home, and you take a copy.

Getting ready

Before, after and ask first

  • Before

Argelia tells you at booking what to pause and what to bring. Come with your skin as it is, and don't pick at it beforehand.

  • After

For a day or two, go gently: no exfoliating products, and sunscreen outside. She goes over your routine before you leave.

  • Ask your doctor first

If you are pregnant or might be, use a prescription skin medicine or have a skin condition a doctor is managing, ask before you book.
