Our policies

What to expect before you book, in plain words.

Booking and deposits

Book online at any hour, or call. The first visit takes a deposit to hold your time, and it goes toward your service. Argelia confirms by text or email, whichever you choose.

Canceling and running late

Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit. Arriving late may shorten your visit, because the time after yours is held for someone else.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a visit without telling us, the deposit is kept. Argelia is glad to rebook you, and she'll ask for a deposit again on the next one.

Children and companions

Cutis sees adults. A client under 18 comes with a parent or guardian, who signs the booking and stays for the consultation. The room is small, so a friend or family member waits in the front room.

Patch tests and allergies

Argelia tries a new product on a small area first and waits before using it on your whole face. Tell her about sensitivities and allergies on the booking page. Reactions can happen with any skin product; if one does, tell Argelia and she'll change the plan.

If you're not happy

If a visit didn't go the way you expected, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right. Argelia changes the plan at your next visit.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay.

Before your visit

At booking, Argelia tells you what to pause for a few days, such as products that exfoliate, and what to bring. Come a few minutes early, with your skin as it is. Don't pick at it beforehand.

When to ask your doctor first

If you are pregnant or might be, use a prescription skin medicine or have a skin condition a doctor is managing, ask your doctor before you book. Argelia may also suggest a dermatologist or your doctor at a visit, and she'll say why.

Book a consultation

Choose a time on Argelia's booking page, or send a message and she'll reply by text or email.
