Skin and dry air
Breakout-prone skin in a dry climate
In dry air, skin loses water faster, so it can feel tight and sore while it still breaks out. A routine meant for oily skin can leave it tighter still. Argelia doesn't guess: she asks how your skin feels through the day, then chooses the steps for that day.
How she chooses
Tight, dry or sore: the dry-air facial, with no extractions
Calm and ready: an extraction facial
Unsure: she'll look under the lamp and tell you

Questions about dry skin
My skin is dry and breaks out. Is a facial right?
It can be. In dry air she picks gentler steps, such as the dry-air facial with no extractions, and explains each one.
Do you do extractions on dry skin?
Only where your skin allows. If it is tight or sore, she moves to the dry-air facial and you can book extractions for another day.
What should I do in the sun?
Wear sunscreen outside and go gently after a visit. She goes over this before you leave.
Does the air change how often I should come?
It can. Some clients come more often in the driest months and less often after. Argelia sets the pace with you and writes it down.
