Quick answers
Short answers before you book
Can I come in with a breakout?
Yes. Tell Argelia when you book. She may suggest a calmer visit or another day, and she says why.
Do extractions hurt?
They can feel uncomfortable. Argelia works slowly, tells you what she is doing and stops when you ask.
Do I stop my products first?
At booking she tells you what to pause, such as products that exfoliate. Bring or photograph what you use, in the order you use it.
Will my skin look different after one facial?
Results vary, and Argelia doesn't promise one. She tells you what she sees and what to expect over the next day or two.
My skin is dry and breaks out. Is a facial right?
It can be. In dry air she picks gentler steps, such as the dry-air facial with no extractions, and explains each one.
What should I do in the sun?
Wear sunscreen outside and go gently after a visit: no exfoliating products for a day or two. She goes over this before you leave.
How often should I come?
Many clients come every four to six weeks. Argelia sets the pace with you and writes it down.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes, once, before your first facial. It is how Argelia learns your skin and your routine. After a long break she starts with a short check-in.
Who should ask a doctor first?
If you are pregnant or might be, use a prescription skin medicine or have a skin condition a doctor is managing, ask your doctor before you book.
What happens if you suggest a dermatologist?
Argelia says so at the visit and writes down why. She doesn't diagnose and doesn't promise that a facial will change a skin condition.
How does pricing work?
Prices aren't printed on this site. They depend on the service, its length and any add-ons, and the booking page shows them before you confirm.
How do deposits and cancellations work?
A deposit holds the first visit and goes toward your service. Please give 24 hours' notice to move or cancel.
